Living Space; hidden spaces

This past week has been extremely busy! Good thing I chose the living room as week one! Here is the final post on my living space and I think I cleaned up the important things. This week I am hoping to take the rug to get cleaned.

The top drawer of this dresser has sort of become the junk drawer of my apartment. Mainly filled with jewelry and stockings.

I laid out all of it together. Bracelets, rings, earrings and watches.

I eliminated anything in the past that I was holding on to because I thought I would wear it again. Updating myself on the status that ‘I hadn’t worn it’ was an important one and into the donate pile it went. Currently at my young age I have yet to acquire a lot of expensive jewelry. So anything that was dated or pieces where the metal had changed colors had to go.

My t-shirts: Again, a couple of them were being held onto because I thought I would wear them and I hadn’t so they got tossed. The rest I organized into long sleeve (on the bottom), short sleeve (middle) and work out/ tech shirts (on top).

All my leggings and sweatshirts have officially moved into my closet. I have more sweaters in the closet and things should never be assess separately. Always group like items together. For now these shelves are empty until my craft items get moved to them.

Maybe it’s an improvement? Let’s just say the donate pile grew and that’s the important thing. I also went through all my things which helps to reinforce the voice inside my head saying “Do not buy anything you don’t absolutely love or need”

The box (under leo’s tank) was also emptied. For now some things just go moved to other areas, however the whole apartment in under this haul so eventually I will have to figure out what to do with them.

Not the best solution for my camera and old film projector, but for now it will do. At least now I can see and use it. Also Leo’s tank has nothing under it and his food and chloride drops got placed on the shelf hidden in the back.

Let me know if you have any suggestions or comment on any progress you made to your living space!
